Diamond Blackfan Anemia is an extraordinarily rare disorder of the bone marrow that usually presents itself during infancy. So far, the Daniella Maria Arturi Foundation has raised close to $1.8 million dollars over the last decade. The National Institutes of Health in the United States has also funded over $25 million dedicated to the study of DBA and related bone marrow failure research.
